Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi Condemns Israel’s Actions in Gaza
During the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi condemned the Israeli regime’s violations of international law and disregard for human values in Gaza. Araghchi highlighted the urgent need for the international community to address the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
He emphasized the necessity of confronting Israel’s warmongering policies in West Asia as a serious threat to international security. Araghchi discussed regional and international developments with foreign ministers from Kuwait, Cuba, and Bahrain, emphasizing the importance of boosting bilateral cooperation.
Amid Israel’s ongoing aggression against Gaza, Araghchi called for attention to contain Israel’s actions. At least 22 people, including children and women, were killed in Israel’s recent attack on the Zeitoun School. The total casualties from Israel’s war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, are staggering, highlighting the urgent need for international intervention.
