100 Lebanese killed in alleged Israeli genocide.

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati has condemned ongoing Israeli strikes in Southern Lebanon, calling it “a war of genocide” that has resulted in the death of 100 people. In a meeting with his government, Mikati urged the United Nations Security Council and other influential nations to intervene and stop the aggression on Lebanese lands, emphasizing Lebanon’s commitment to UN Resolution 1701.

Mikati referenced UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’ concerns about south Lebanon potentially becoming “another Gaza” and called for international pressure on Israel to cease its attacks. The Lebanese Health Ministry reported that over 100 people have been killed and more than 400 wounded, including children, women, and medical aid workers in Israeli raids on Lebanon.

This tragic situation highlights the urgent need for global intervention to prevent further loss of life and destruction. The Lebanese government is calling for immediate action to end the violence and protect the civilians in the region.
