While facing criticism over limited winter fuel payments, Starmer remains steadfast in his approach. At the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner and Foreign Secretary David Lammy emphasized the government’s vision for growth and progress.
Despite challenges, Starmer highlights his government’s achievements, including homebuilding targets and investment in green energy. However, calls from influential figures like Sharon Graham from the Unite union to reverse specific policies continue to put pressure on the Prime Minister.
