Israeli Captives in Gaza: Families Accuse Netanyahu of Abandonment

Families of Israeli captives in Gaza are accusing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of abandoning their loved ones while focusing on engaging in warfare with Hezbollah in Lebanon. The families held a press conference near the Defense Ministry headquarters in Tel Aviv to voice their concerns.

They criticized Netanyahu for neglecting the lives of the captives in Gaza and escalating tensions on multiple fronts. The families are calling on President Isaac Herzog to intervene and pressure the government to negotiate a hostage swap deal with Palestinian factions.

Currently, Israel holds thousands of Palestinian prisoners while an estimated 101 Israelis are in captivity in Gaza. Hamas claims that many hostages have been killed in Israeli airstrikes. Negotiations for a cease-fire and prisoner swap are at a critical stage.

Tensions between Israel and Hezbollah have also heightened following recent airstrikes in Lebanon. The situation is complex and requires immediate action to ensure the safety of all individuals involved.

Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
