Meet the Winner of the 2024 Edo Governorship Election
Monday Okpebholo, representing the All Progressives Congress (APC), has emerged as the winner of the Edo State governorship election. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Okpebholo victorious after securing 291,667 votes from 18 local government areas (LGAs).
In the race for the governorship seat, Asue Ighodalo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) came in second with 247,655 votes, while Olumide Akpata of the Labour Party (LP) finished third with 22,763 votes.
