Former Senate President and current Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, Adolphus Wabara, has called for the dismissal of Muheeba Dankaka, the Chairman of the Federal Character Commission, due to corruption allegations.
Wabara revealed his experience at the FCC, where job placements were only possible with bribery. This is not an isolated incident, as 14 witnesses previously reported paying for job placements. Despite this, the investigating committee, led by Yusuf Gagdi, has yet to release its findings.
Wabara criticized the government and National Assembly for failing to take action against corruption. He highlighted the need for swift investigations and accountability within the FCC to restore public trust.
Adebayo Shittu, an APC member, also called for thorough investigations into the allegations of job racketeering at the FCC to prevent selective handling of corruption cases.
In light of these revelations, it is crucial for authorities to address the issue promptly and ensure transparency to uphold integrity in government institutions.
