A top Yemeni official, Field Marshal Mahdi Mohammad Al-Mashat, recently warned the United States and Israel to expect surprises in the coming days. Celebrating the success of the Rocketry Forces in targeting Tel Aviv with the Palestine 2 hypersonic missile that outmaneuvered defense systems, Al-Mashat emphasized that their operations will continue in support of Palestine until liberation from Israeli occupation.
Reflecting on the 10th anniversary of Yemen’s September 21 revolution, Al-Mashat highlighted the resistance movement’s victory against the Saudi-backed regime in 2014. He urged aggressive nations to end the senseless war, emphasizing the need for just peace and lifting the siege on Yemen. Al-Mashat also canceled major events in solidarity with Gaza and reaffirmed the revolution’s commitment to the Palestinian cause.
The September 21 revolution, according to Al-Mashat, prevented normalization with Israel, stabilized Yemen’s unity, and restored national sovereignty. It marked a turning point from decades of foreign interference, reclaiming Yemen’s decision-making and independence.
