Iran Press/Iran news: Iran’s President Massoud Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of unity among Muslim countries during a meeting with Iranian officials, ambassadors of Islamic countries, and guests of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference with Ayatollah Khamenei. He highlighted that unity is crucial in order to prosper, defend against enemies, and maintain strong relations with other Muslim nations. Pezeshkian also highlighted the Prophet’s way of creating unity and brotherhood among Muslims as a means to counter the aggression of the Zionist regime.
The President referenced the Sacred Defense period, the 8-year Iraq-Iran war, as a clear example of the effectiveness of unity. He noted that during this time, the Iranian nation’s internal unity prevented the aggressor Baathist enemy from capturing any part of the country. Pezeshkian stressed that through unity, Muslim nations can protect their culture and economy, ensuring that foreign powers do not dictate their actions.
