Ukraine Strikes Russian Weapons Depots: Hundreds Evacuated

Ukraine successfully targeted two Russian weapons depots in Krasnodar and Tver regions, resulting in over 1,000 evacuations. The Ukrainian army hit a critical depot near Tikhoretsk in Krasnodar and an arsenal in Oktyabrsky village of Tver region. This action disrupted Moscow’s logistics for its ongoing invasion of Ukraine.

The governor of Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratyev, declared the evacuation of 1,200 people after a drone attack triggered a fire near Tikhoretsk. The incident, labeled by Kondratyev as a “terrorist attack by the Kyiv regime,” led to evacuations and temporary accommodations.

Videos circulating on social media captured massive explosions, prompting smoke and sirens in the affected areas. Despite Russia’s claims of shooting down Ukrainian drones, Ukraine persists in targeting Russian infrastructure. Once relatively spared, Krasnodar has witnessed increased attacks over the last year.

This latest strike demonstrates Ukraine’s commitment to defending its borders against Russian aggression. As both nations continue to clash, the impact of these targeted strikes further escalates the conflict.
