Kyiv Strikes Ammo Depots in South and West Russia

Ukraine Strikes Russian Weapon Depots, Causes Evacuations

In a bold move, Ukraine has successfully struck two Russian weapons depots in the southern Krasnodar and western Tver regions, resulting in over 1,000 evacuations by Moscow. Kyiv has been targeting Russian infrastructure with drones as the conflict between the two nations continues to escalate.

The Ukrainian army targeted a depot near Tikhoretsk in Krasnodar, which is crucial for Moscow’s logistics in its invasion of Ukraine, as well as an arsenal in Tver region’s Oktyabrsky village. The attacks caused fires and detonations, leading to the evacuation of residents in the affected areas.

Despite accusations of a “terrorist attack” by the Kyiv regime from the Krasnodar governor, Veniamin Kondratyev, the Ukrainian government continues to carry out strategic strikes. The disruption caused by these attacks was evident in Toropets, where falling debris from a drone strike led to the temporary closure of a major highway.

Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed to have shot down over 100 Ukrainian drones, indicating a growing conflict in the border regions. The ongoing drone attacks highlight the persistent tensions between Ukraine and Russia.
