Iran showcases 23 ballistic missiles, reveals new 4,000 km drone – Al-Manar TV Lebanon

Iran showcased its military strength during the opening ceremony of Sacred Defense Week, revealing an impressive array of ballistic missiles and a cutting-edge kamikaze drone. The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) displayed 23 advanced ballistic missiles, including the newly introduced Jihad missile, capable of traveling up to 1,000 kilometers with a detachable warhead. Additionally, the debut of the Shahed-136B kamikaze drone with a 4,000-kilometer range and a 50-kilogram warhead was highlighted.

The unveiling took place at the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini in Tehran, commemorating the anniversary of Saddam Hussein’s invasion of Iran 44 years ago. The Shahed-136B, a delta-wing shaped loitering munition, was a standout feature of the parade, showcasing Iran’s technological advancements in military defense.

These new additions to Iran’s military arsenal demonstrate the country’s commitment to strengthening its defense capabilities. With innovative designs and increased operational ranges, the showcased missiles and drones mark a significant milestone in Iran’s defense sector.
