Government-run home in Thane reports 2 missing deaf, mute children

In a disturbing incident, two hearing and speech-impaired children have gone missing from a government-run children’s home in Thane, Maharashtra. The children, aged 14 and 17, disappeared from the establishment in Ulhasnagar on Thursday morning. They have been residents at the home since March 2023 and were last seen at around 6.30 am when they absconded with a security guard’s mobile phone.
