Driven by a mission to empower Maasai women, the PWC has tackled issues like gender-based violence, land ownership, and economic independence. Through initiatives like livestock cooperatives and community banks, they have transformed the lives of over 15,000 women in the region.
To combat deep-rooted gender inequalities, the PWC engages community leaders and challenges customary laws that favor men. As a result, women like Ngoije have gained ownership of land and a voice in decision-making processes.
