Enemy attacks on foreign land fuel conflict in Russia.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently highlighted the significant impact of strikes on enemy territory, emphasizing how they bring the war back to Russia. In a video address, Zelensky praised the precision of Ukrainian warriors in targeting enemy assets within Russia. He mentioned the successful damage done to an arms depot, a critical ammunition supply for the occupiers. Zelensky also acknowledged the efforts of the Ukrainian Defense and Security Forces, as well as the SBU State Security Service, in disrupting Russian military operations.

Specifically, SBU drones targeted the Shaykovka military airfield in Russia’s Kaluga region, where Tu-22M strategic bombers are stationed. Zelensky stressed the importance of Ukraine’s capabilities and weapons in counteracting Russian aggression, highlighting the need for support from international partners to accelerate the end of the conflict. This recent development underscores Ukraine’s ability to effectively defend itself and push back against Russian incursions, ultimately bringing the reality of war closer to Russian soil.
