Chandrababu Naidu to seek advice from pontiffs, experts for future plan.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced plans to consult religious leaders and experts in Hinduism regarding the use of animal fat in Tirupati laddus. Alleging that substandard ingredients were used by the previous government, Naidu expressed concerns over the sanctity of the popular sweet offered at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple. The government will seek advice on how to proceed with the management of the temple, run by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams.

Naidu emphasized the uniqueness of the Tirupati laddu, stating that its recipe has been difficult to replicate elsewhere. He recounted an incident in Ayodhya where attempts to recreate the laddu failed, highlighting the centuries-old tradition of the sacred sweet. The Chief Minister aims to ensure the purity of prasadams offered at the temple through consultations with religious leaders.
