As election season ramps up, absentee voting has begun in seven more states, adding to over a dozen states where voting is already underway. While the presidential level in these new states might not be competitive, two House races stand out as key battlegrounds:
- Indiana’s 1st Congressional District: Incumbent Frank Mrvan faces a challenge from Republican Randy Niemeyer in this closely-watched race.
- New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District: Incumbent Tom Kean Jr. faces off against Democrat Sue Altman in a district that was narrowly won by Republicans in 2022.
