Lebanon in Mourning: Death Toll Rises to 31 in Israeli Aggression
Recently, the southern suburb of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, was struck by a tragic Israeli aggression, leaving behind a devastating toll of 31 lives lost, including innocent children and women. The Minister of Health in the Lebanese caretaker government, Firas Al-Abyad, confirmed this somber news, with 68 others wounded in the attacks.
Describing the Israeli assaults as war crimes, officials like Minister of Works Ali Hamiyah and Minister of the Interior Bassam Al-Mawlawi emphasized on the need for intensified efforts in rescue operations and investigations. The Central Security Council in Lebanon has been actively involved in monitoring the situation and ensuring proper security measures are in place.
Tragically, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, also suffered losses with the martyrdom of 16 fighters, including prominent leaders. The total death toll from the Zionist aggression has now reached 70, as reported by the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
As Lebanon mourns the lives lost in this senseless violence, efforts continue to bring justice and peace to the affected communities.
