Russia publishes list of ‘destructive’ countries — RT Russ & FSU

Russia has identified 47 countries with “destructive attitudes” that contradict traditional Russian values, allowing their nationals to seek asylum in Russia. President Vladimir Putin’s decree permits foreigners who share Russian values and oppose their own government’s “neoliberal” agenda to apply for residency.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin published the list of countries implementing policies contrary to Russian values, including EU and NATO members. Notably absent are Slovakia, Hungary, and Turkey. These countries may face Russian diplomatic and economic measures due to their hostile conduct.

Russia aims to provide a safe haven for “normalcy” by defending traditional values from prevailing “wokeism” in the West. Putin’s edict allows nationals from “destructive neoliberal” countries to seek temporary residence without standard immigration requirements.

This initiative originated from an Italian student’s proposal to streamline immigration for those sharing Russian cultural, traditional, and family values. This unconventional approach to asylum reflects Russia’s commitment to preserving its heritage amidst global ideological shifts.
