BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 20 – President Ilham Aliyev praised the unity of Azerbaijani society during the 44-day Patriotic War in a meeting with the teaching staff and students of Garabagh University. Reflecting on the conflict, Aliyev emphasized the importance of educating the younger generation in the national spirit, culture, traditions, and moral values to prevent influence from external forces seeking to disrupt stability in the region.
Aliyev highlighted the resilience of the Azerbaijani people in the face of occupation attempts, noting that major world powers had aimed to maintain the occupation of Azerbaijani lands for decades. The President urged the youth to stay true to their roots and avoid being swayed by false promises, emphasizing the crucial role of education in preserving national identity and unity.
