Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is set to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on the sidelines of the 79th UN General Assembly in New York. The meeting, scheduled for Monday or Tuesday, reaffirms Greece’s commitment to Greek-Turkish dialogue while upholding its sovereignty.
Additionally, Mitsotakis will address the UN General Assembly and engage in discussions with foreign leaders, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. His speech will emphasize global geopolitical challenges, Greece’s UN Security Council role, and the Cyprus issue.
During his stay, the Prime Minister will participate in an event with Greek-American organizations in Astoria, highlighting the strong ties between the Greek diaspora and the homeland.
