Israel’s largest attack on Lebanon since October executed in one of the biggest assaults, 80 chars

Israel’s largest attack on Lebanon update: Israel strikes over 100 Hezbollah rocket launchers and arms depots in Lebanon, escalating tensions in the region. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) targeted launchers ready to fire at Israel, in response to Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah accusing Israel of a declaration of war.

The attacks on Lebanon reportedly killed 37 people and wounded 3,000, with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant declaring a new phase of the conflict. Hundreds, mostly Hezbollah fighters, have been killed since the fighting escalated on October 8, 2023.

The IDF aims to degrade Hezbollah’s capabilities and defend Israel, with intense airstrikes being among the most severe since last year’s Gaza war. Residents near the Lebanese border are advised to take precautions.

Hezbollah retaliated with anti-tank rockets and drones, resulting in casualties on the Israeli side. The situation remains volatile between the two sides as tensions continue to rise.

Stay tuned for more updates on the ongoing conflict in the region.
