Iran Calls for International Reaction to Israeli Attacks in Lebanon
Iran’s government spokesperson, Fatemeh Mohajerani, urges the international community to respond to the “inhuman” acts of the Israeli regime in Lebanon. This comes after explosions targeted pagers and communication devices in Lebanon, killing 30 people and injuring 3,500.
Iran’s Ambassador to Beirut, Mojtaba Amani, who was injured in the attacks, praised the efforts of Iranian medical staff in treating the wounded and highlighted the swift transfer of injured individuals to hospitals in Iran.
Amani emphasized that the pagers targeted by the Israeli regime were used for humanitarian purposes in hospitals, kindergartens, and schools. The attacks were condemned by Hezbollah, with the group vowing retaliation against Israel.
Iran has expressed its right to respond to the sabotage and terrorism by the Israeli regime in Lebanon, with global concerns rising over a potential escalation into a full-scale war between Israel and Hezbollah.
