Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly declares the end of the country’s electricity crisis, ensuring no more power cuts.

He addresses concerns about potential load shedding in the future and announces a $2.5 billion investment for uninterrupted power supply during the summer.

Madbouly emphasizes the importance of long-term solutions, including adding 4 gigawatts of renewable energy and investing in upgrading the electricity network.

Egypt will also connect its grid with Saudi Arabia to facilitate power exchange during peak demand periods.

By next summer, the government aims to avoid high maintenance costs and achieve stability in the energy sector.
