The Aurora Humanitarian Initiative will be participating in the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) 2024 Annual Meeting in New York City on September 25, 2024. This event brings together leaders from various sectors to address issues such as climate resilience, inclusive economic growth, health equity, and humanitarian response efforts.
One of the sessions at the meeting will focus on “Innovating in a Time of Crisis,” highlighting solutions for vulnerable populations globally. The panel will include Chelsea Clinton, Armine Afeyan, and Dr. Iftikher Mahmood.
Aurora’s CEO, Armine Afeyan, expressed excitement about joining forces with global leaders to tackle pressing challenges. The initiative aims to recognize and support humanitarian heroes making a difference around the world.
In addition to CGI, Aurora will host a panel discussion during the UN General Assembly, addressing humanitarian needs globally.
The Aurora Humanitarian Initiative is dedicated to supporting the most destitute, having initiated and supported projects in 56 countries, benefiting almost 3.4 million people. CGI, founded by President Bill Clinton, focuses on accomplishments through collective action.
