Zelensky to Meet Harris and Trump During U.S. Visit

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is set to meet with Democratic U.S. presidential candidate Kamala Harris during his upcoming visit to Washington, as reported by Bloomberg. Zelensky plans to present his victory plan, including Ukraine’s aspirations for NATO and EU membership, economic and security agreements, and requests for advanced weapons supply.

During his visit, Zelensky is also expected to meet with Republican candidate Donald Trump. The last time they spoke was in July, and Trump has expressed a likelihood of meeting Zelensky during the UN General Assembly.

Zelensky will address the UN General Assembly on Sept. 25, presenting the plan that has been reviewed by the White House and deemed a viable option by U.S. Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield.

As the conflict with Russia continues, Zelensky emphasized the need for lasting security and peace in Ukraine and Europe, stating that there is no alternative to peace. He is determined to fulfill the plan presented to both Harris and Trump, regardless of who becomes the next president.
