Russian President Vladimir Putin recently visited the Special Technology Center (STC) to witness the production of electronic warfare systems and drones. Accompanied by Defense Minister Andrei Belousov and First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, Putin viewed the unique Orlan drones and small spacecraft such as CubeSat being produced at the STC.

During the visit, Putin emphasized the importance of meeting the Armed Forces’ needs for unmanned vehicles, announcing plans to increase drone production by nearly ten times. He also highlighted the need to incorporate artificial intelligence into drone technology and continuously improve their tactical and technical characteristics.
On September 19, Putin pledged to supply new weapons to the Russian Armed Forces, emphasizing the importance of providing modern high-precision weapons and vehicles for combat operations.
