Man Arrested in Poland for Organizing Attack on Navalny Ally Volkov

A man accused of organizing attacks on allies of the late Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny has been detained in Poland, as reported by the independent news outlet Sirena. The arrest is linked to allegations made by Navalny’s team against exiled billionaire Leonid Nevzlin, who is accused of orchestrating attacks on various individuals in different countries.

Nevzlin has denied any involvement in the attacks and believes that justice will prove the accusations against him to be baseless. The alleged attack on Navalny’s ally, Leonid Volkov, was reportedly ordered through lawyer Anatoly Blinov, who is now detained in Poland.

Polish authorities have not officially commented on Blinov’s arrest, and the accusations against Nevzlin have sparked controversy within Russia’s exiled opposition. The situation is likely to escalate into legal proceedings, although Nevzlin currently resides in Israel.

Lithuania’s President has expressed willingness to investigate the claims against Nevzlin, highlighting the international implications of the case. The authenticity of the reports and the response of Polish authorities remain to be confirmed.
