Ambassador Amani recently visited Tehran to express his gratitude for the swift action taken by Iran in response to a terrorist attack that left many injured. He thanked the Iranian Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Health, and the Iranian Red Crescent for their efforts in transferring the injured to hospitals for treatment.
During his visit, Amani met with Former Minister of Health Seyed Hassan Ghazizadeh Hashemi to discuss his treatment plan and recovery progress. Hashemi expressed confidence that Amani would soon be able to return to his post in Lebanon.
The hospital’s director and Health Ministry officials briefed Amani on the status of other injured individuals receiving care. Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Major General Hossein Salami also visited Amani and other injured individuals at the hospital.
The terrorist attack, attributed to the Israeli regime, resulted in the deaths of at least 30 people and injuries to over 3,450 individuals. Amani’s visit highlighted the importance of international cooperation in responding to such tragic events and provided hope for the injured’s recovery.
