Emphasizing the close ties between Tehran and Caracas, the defense minister highlighted the role of former presidents Ebrahim Raeisi and Hugo Chavez in strengthening bilateral relations.
He praised Venezuela’s position as a frontline fighter against global imperialism and arrogance, while describing the relationship between Iran and Venezuela as ‘privileged’. The transportation minister of Venezuela, in turn, conveyed warm greetings from President Nicolas Maduro to Iranian leaders and expressed optimism about further enhancing bilateral cooperation.
Both countries acknowledge the untapped potential for deepening their ties and are committed to advancing their partnership. The meeting underscored the significance of continued collaboration between Iran and Venezuela in the face of common challenges.
