DIC in Iraq Develops Recon Drones

Exciting news has emerged from Baghdad as the head of Iraq’s Defense Industries Commission (DIC), Mustafa Hassan, announced the successful production of reconnaissance drones. These drones have already been delivered to Iraqi security services, with plans to further localize this important technology in collaboration with the Iraqi Ministry of Interior.

Last December, the Iraqi Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, struck a deal with the DIC to purchase these drones to enhance security operations. Al-Shammari emphasized the commission’s ability to produce various vehicles, equipment, and weapons to support the ministry’s needs.

The Iraqi Ministry of Interior has made significant strides in providing advanced vehicles and weapons to its various departments, with a focus on securing Iraq’s borders through the use of modern equipment and night-vision binoculars. This initiative is part of the DIC’s broader goal to strengthen the military industry in Iraq and bolster the country’s economic and national security.

With a commitment to innovation and collaboration, Iraq is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge technology for its defense sector. This recent achievement underscores the country’s determination to build a self-sufficient and secure future.
