The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Edo State is calling for prayers ahead of the upcoming governorship election. The leadership of CAN led a special prayer session to ensure a peaceful and fair election, urging the people to vote without fear.
Apostle Irekpono Omoike, Chairman of CAN in Edo State, expressed confidence in a peaceful election outcome that will bring a God-fearing government to the state. He encouraged the residents to vote for a candidate who upholds moral values for prosperity and peace.
Pastor Margaret Oghosa Agbonifo, along with other clergy members, emphasized the need for vigilance and prayer during the election day. They assured that any plans to disrupt the election will fail, and urged the people to vote wisely for the betterment of Edo State.
Rev. Fr. Alfred Agbonlahor joined in praying for a peaceful election, denouncing any attempts to derail the democratic process. The collective message of faith and hope is to ensure a smooth and violence-free election day for the benefit of the state and its residents.
