Enhancing Cybersecurity in Azerbaijan: The Future of Information Protection
The Azerbaijani Service for Special Communications and Information Security is set to introduce a new approach to cybersecurity training by simulating cyber attacks in all government institutions. This announcement was made by service official Tural Mammadov at the fourth International Cyber Security Days (ICSD-2024) conference in Baku.
With a focus on improving response capabilities and training skills, the service will implement a pilot project that moves from practical training to a reactive method. By simulating cyber attacks, they aim to measure and enhance the readiness of government entities.
The conference, themed “Cybersecurity for the Green Economy”, brought together experts in cybersecurity from local and foreign entities. Organized by the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security of Azerbaijan and PROSOL company, the event highlighted the importance of cybersecurity in the modern world.
