IDF Strikes Hezbollah Targets in Lebanon
Air Force jets conducted strikes on 30 Hezbollah launchers preparing to fire 150 rockets towards Israel, as reported by the IDF on Thursday. The military targeted Hezbollah structures and weapons storage in South Lebanon based on intelligence. Hezbollah retaliated by launching 50 Iranian-made falaq missiles, injuring a woman in Metula.
The IDF stated its mission was to degrade Hezbollah’s capabilities and infrastructure, condemning the group’s use of civilians as human shields. IDF Chief approved battle plans for a potential offensive in Lebanon, emphasizing readiness.
In a televised speech, Hassan Nasrallah addressed Hezbollah’s recent communication device explosions while Israeli jets flew over key areas. In response, Hezbollah fired rockets at Israel’s north, killing two IDF servicemen and causing power outages in Nahariya.
Earlier, the IDF thwarted a terror attack on the border and eliminated two Hezbollah terrorists planting explosives. The conflict escalates, with both sides on high alert.
