UN Urges Immediate Action to Halt Escalation in Lebanon and Syria

The UN human rights chief, Volker Turk, has called for immediate action to prevent further escalation after simultaneous pager explosions in Lebanon and Syria. The explosions resulted in the deaths of at least 12 people, including two children, and left thousands injured.
