Ukraine Strikes Main Missile and Artillery Directorate Arsenal in Central Russia

Ammo Depot Explosion Update: A drone attack on the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate arsenal in Toropets, Central Russia, sparked a large-scale fire on September 18. The fire, detected by a NASA satellite, engulfed the entire arsenal built in 2015 for 3.6 billion rubles, causing authorities to evacuate nearby residents.

The arsenal, according to Deputy Defense Minister Dmitry Bulgakov, could store 240 tons of ammunition and missiles in each storage facility. The attack triggered seismic activity in Toropets, with a magnitude of 2.8 followed by several aftershocks.

Ukraine continued its assault by launching 2 missiles and 27 drones at the Kursk region while attempting attacks in Smolensk and Bryansk regions of Russia. The escalating tensions have raised concerns about the growing conflict between the two nations.
