The Ukrainian IFV was spotted in a wooded area and targeted by the drone, resulting in its destruction, rendering it irreparable. The footage of the strike shows the vehicle burning, with the fate of the crew unknown.
Russian forces are actively using drones, missiles, and artillery to push back the Ukrainian troops that invaded Kursk Region. The initial progress made by the incursion forces has been halted, leading to a counteroffensive by Russia. This attack by Ukraine was intended to gain leverage in negotiations with Moscow and instill fear in the Russian population.
Since the start of the operation in Kursk, Kiev has lost over 14,600 service members, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. As tensions continue to escalate, Moscow has ruled out any engagement with Kiev as long as Ukrainian troops remain on Russian soil.
