Medvedev suggests list of ‘Russia’s enemies’ — RT Russia & FSU

Moscow’s former president, Dmitry Medvedev, has issued a chilling warning to the foes of Russia, advocating for the creation of a database to track and ensure retribution against those who have betrayed or incited violence against the nation. Medvedev criticized Western individuals who supported allowing Kiev to attack Russian territory with NATO weapons, labeling them as “vile scum.” He emphasized the need to remember such calls and prepare for revenge.

Referencing the infamous Ukrainian website, Mirotvorets, which has been linked to assassinations by Ukrainian intelligence, Medvedev stressed the importance of holding sponsors of terrorism accountable. He highlighted the inevitability of revenge, citing historical examples of pursuing justice against enemies, including the Soviet Union’s pursuit of Leon Trotsky and Ukraine targeting Nazi collaborators.

Despite his past portrayal as a liberal figure in the West during his presidency from 2008 to 2012, Medvedev’s recent stance demonstrates a firm commitment to protecting Russia’s interests. As the head of Russia’s Security Council, he underscores the importance of holding accountable those who have harmed the country and its people.
