A Royal Decree issued in Amman today approved the formation of a new government under Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan, following the resignation of former Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh. The newly appointed cabinet consists of 32 ministers, including key positions such as Minister of Defense, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Health.
The ministers were sworn in before King Abdullah II, demonstrating their commitment to Jordan’s modernization journey and implementing national initiatives. Outgoing Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh and his cabinet were thanked by King Abdullah for their service and awarded the Silver Jubilee Medal in recognition of their efforts.
