The Israeli Army Alerts Citizens Following Deadly Pager Explosions in Lebanon

The Israeli army has urged its citizens to exercise caution after Hezbollah threatened retaliation for the deadly pager explosions that occurred across Lebanon. At least nine people, including a child, were killed in the mass explosion of pager devices, with many more injured, according to Lebanese Health Minister Firas Al-Abiad.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly approved the explosion of wireless communication devices in Lebanon. Hezbollah held Israel responsible for the incident and vowed ‘just retaliation from unexpected quarters’.

The mass explosion of pagers came amid cross-border attacks between Hezbollah and Israel, coinciding with the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip. The situation remains tense, and the Israeli army has emphasized the importance of readiness in both offense and defense.
