Iran’s UN ambassador, Amir Saeid Iravani, strongly denounced Israel’s terrorist actions against Lebanon during an emergency meeting at the UN General Assembly. He condemned the cyber terrorism by the Tel Aviv regime that led to casualties, including the Iranian ambassador. Iravani offered condolences to the victims’ families and the Lebanese government, urging the UN to recognize Palestine as a full member and reassess Israel’s membership due to its continual breaches of international law.
He highlighted Israel’s long-standing aggressions in Gaza and the West Bank as threats to peace and security, calling for effective measures to stop the violations. The recent explosions of wireless communication devices in Lebanon resulted in multiple casualties, including Hezbollah members and civilians. The Lebanese health ministry reported at least nine fatalities and 2,800 injuries, with hospitals exceeding capacity. Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, was also injured in the incident.
The tragic events underscore the need for accountability and justice in the face of terrorism and aggression, as voiced by Ambassador Iravani at the UN General Assembly.
