Iran’s nuclear industry has made remarkable advancements in radiopharmaceuticals, stable isotopes, and various other sectors. Rafael Grossi, director-general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), commended Iran’s progress during his visit to Iran’s pavilion at the IAEA’s 68th General Conference in Vienna.Grossi expressed optimism about Iran’s future nuclear achievements, despite challenges faced after the US withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear agreement. In response, Iran scaled back its commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) due to other parties’ failure to uphold their end of the deal.
Despite tensions, Iran reaffirmed its commitment to cooperate with the IAEA to address any unresolved issues concerning its nuclear program. Iran refuted claims by Western officials that it is unwilling to engage with the IAEA, emphasizing its willingness to work towards a peaceful resolution.
As Iran continues to showcase its nuclear advancements, the country remains focused on maintaining cooperation with international authorities to ensure transparency and adherence to nuclear regulations.
