A tourism company is now offering a chance to relive the Grand Tour experience in Zimbabwe for a hefty price of at least R395,000 per person. The Grand Tour: One for the Road, the last ever adventure by Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond, showcased the beautiful side of Zimbabwe’s tourism landscape, despite challenges in road infrastructure.

Mavros Safaris, the official logistics partner for the episode, is providing a similar journey for teams of up to four at a price of just under US$21,000. The 20-week tour promises rugged terrain, abundant wildlife, and luxury accommodations along the way.

The Grand Tour episode brought positive publicity to Zimbabwe, a country often associated with political turmoil and economic challenges. The show highlighted the country’s diverse landscapes and unique experiences, attracting praise from viewers worldwide.

The tourism sector in Zimbabwe has been steadily rebounding, with over a million tourists visiting in 2022. Despite infrastructure challenges, the country’s natural beauty and rich culture continue to draw visitors from around the globe.
