Regarding his responsibilities as justice commissioner, McGrath mentioned the possibility of overseeing GDPR and acknowledged the sensitivity of this issue given the presence of global tech companies in Ireland.
As he prepares for the European Parliament hearings, McGrath is contemplating whether his family will relocate to Brussels. His immediate focus remains on fulfilling his duties as the newly designated Justice Commissioner.
