In a recent phone conversation with Lebanon’s Foreign Minister, Abdullah Bou Habib, Deputy Foreign Minister Araghchi condemned the recent attacks in Lebanon. Araghchi expressed Iran’s solidarity and readiness to provide assistance, including medical support and potential transfers to Tehran for treatment.
Additionally, Araghchi inquired about the condition of Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, who was injured in the attack. Bou Habib expressed gratitude for Iran’s support and commitment to assisting Lebanon during this challenging time.
In a separate communication, Minister Araghchi also contacted the wife of Ambassador Amani to inquire about his health status. The ambassador’s wife expressed appreciation for the concern, reporting that Amani’s condition was stable and improving.
Reports from Lebanese media indicated that the attacks were linked to members of Hezbollah. The Lebanese government has vowed to investigate the incident thoroughly and ensure accountability.
