Recently in Baku and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, new cadets of special educational institutions took the Military Oath in a solemn ceremony, as reported by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including representatives of the National Defense University, Defense Ministry, and families of the cadets.
During the ceremony, the battle flags were presented with honor, and a minute of silence was observed to pay tribute to the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s independence. The National Anthem of Azerbaijan was performed with a military orchestra.
Speakers congratulated the cadets and emphasized the importance of serving the country with honor and discipline. The cadets then took the oath of loyalty and paraded in front of the audience. Parents also had the opportunity to learn about the training and living conditions in these institutions.
This event marked a significant step for the cadets as they embarked on their journey towards becoming honorable servicemen for the Azerbaijani people, dedicated to upholding the values of their nation.
