Azerbaijan’s defense and national security budget for 2025 unveiled

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 17. Azerbaijan has announced its defense and national security budget for 2025, as reported by Trend. The country plans to allocate 6.66 billion manat ($3.92 billion) for defense and national security, accounting for 16.8 percent of the state budget.

Furthermore, 3.21 billion manat ($1.89 billion) will be allocated for the judiciary, law enforcement, and the prosecutor’s office, making up 8.1 percent of total budget expenditures.

This move underscores Azerbaijan’s commitment to enhancing its defense capabilities and ensuring national security. The substantial budget allocation reflects the country’s prioritization of defense and security initiatives in the coming years.
