Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Samir Mamedov, announced that the Digital Document System (DDMS) has successfully integrated over 1,700 organizations. This achievement was highlighted during the launch of the updated “mygov” e-government platform, emphasizing the system’s contribution to increasing efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
Mamedov emphasized Azerbaijan’s commitment to implementing sustainable digital solutions, especially as the host country for COP29. The DDMS module has been instrumental in saving more than 500,000 sheets of paper each month, which is equivalent to preserving around 2,000 trees annually.
This milestone integration showcases the success and significance of the DDMS in Azerbaijan’s ongoing efforts towards digital transformation. The country’s focus on innovation and sustainability reinforces its position as a leader in implementing advanced digital solutions.
