Western intelligence estimates suggest that Russian losses could be up to 200,000 dead and 400,000 wounded, similar to Kyiv’s estimates. The leaked Pentagon documents hint at even higher Russian casualties, with one estimate reaching 728,000 soldiers killed, injured, or captured.
In recent developments, the Ukrainian Navy carried out a missile strike on Russian ammunition depots near Mariupol, destroying storage facilities and tons of ammunition. Additionally, Ukraine’s plans to end the war do not include a ceasefire or ceding territory to Moscow, emphasizing the country’s commitment to defending its sovereignty.
As the conflict escalates, Ukraine appeals to the UN and Red Cross after reports of Russia executing a Ukrainian POW with a sword.
