Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis is set to meet with French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejourne in Athens on Monday at 3.45 p.m.
Topics of discussion are expected to include Germany’s recent decision to tighten border controls in response to increased immigration, along with regional conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, and the EU accession process for the Western Balkans.
Both ministers will hold a press conference at 5 p.m. following their talks. The meeting follows the signing of a defense pact between Greece and France in 2021, committing mutual assistance in the face of external threats.
