Israeli military targets Hezbollah weapons facilities in Lebanon

The Israeli military conducted airstrikes on Hezbollahweapons storage facilities” across Lebanon, injuring four people, including three children, in Al-Kawakh. Strikes also hit empty shops in Sareen, confirmed by the state-run Lebanese news agency NNA. The Israel Defense Forces targeted Hezbollah weapons storage facilities in the Beqaa and Baalbek areas, as well as seven other locations in southern Lebanon.

These strikes came in response to 55 projectiles fired from Lebanon towards Israeli territory, with Hezbollah claiming to have shelled an Israeli military brigade headquarters. They also launched attacks on northern Israel in support of Palestinians in Gaza. Tensions have escalated along the Israel-Lebanon border since the conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.

With ongoing exchanges of fire between the two sides, the situation remains tense as both Israel and Hezbollah continue their military engagements.
